During individual meetings, participants could discuss their current needs with advisers and receive practical information about everyday life and handling various matters in Poland. One of the important topics was healthcare for foreigners in Poland – including the rules for accessing medical services and the available forms of support.

Another important area of support concerned preparing an application for a permanent residence permit. Advisers helped participants organise the required information, verify the documents they had prepared, and explained issues related to the residence legalisation procedure on the basis of the Polish Card.

The individual format of the consultations makes it possible to address the specific situation of each person. Direct contact with an adviser helps not only to find an answer to a current question, but also to better understand the applicable procedures and plan the next steps with greater confidence.

The project “INTEURO – integration of foreigners in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship” includes comprehensive activities designed to provide third-country nationals with access to information, counselling and various forms of support. An important part of the project is organising consultations outside Kielce as well – in places where foreigners live, work and deal with their everyday matters.

The latest consultation session in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski once again showed how important direct and free support available close to one’s place of residence is. INTEURO helps foreigners better understand life in Poland, make more effective use of available institutions and build a stable life in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
