Creative integration workshops at the INTEURO InfoPoint in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski

On 6 May 2026, integration workshops for foreigners were held at the INTEURO InfoPoint in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. The meeting was devoted to making jewellery and decorative items from clay. It was an opportunity for creative work, conversation and building relationships in a friendly, open atmosphere.

The INTEURO InfoPoint in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski operates on the basis of the District Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. It is the local animators who conduct activities carried out as part of our project, supporting foreigners in integration, active participation in local community life and discovering new ways of spending free time.

During the workshops, participants made small jewellery elements, ornaments and decorative objects from clay. The activities were both practical and integrative in nature — everyone could try their hand at creative work, make their own original piece and, at the same time, spend time in a group of people from different countries and backgrounds.

Such activities show that integration can also take place through joint creativity, handicraft and informal meetings. Working with clay allowed participants to develop their creativity, take a break from everyday responsibilities and, at the same time, establish contacts and strengthen their sense of belonging to the local community.

The workshops were also an example of good project cooperation with local partners. Thanks to the involvement of animators from the Polish Red Cross branch in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, the INTEURO InfoPoint is becoming not only a place of information and support, but also a space for active integration, meetings and building relationships between residents of the region and foreigners.
