Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s Day at the INTEURO Center – a warm intergenerational meeting
A special meeting with seniors from Ukraine took place at the INTEURO Center on the occasion of Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s Day.
It was a beautiful and touching opportunity to celebrate together, talk and build intergenerational connections. Children participating in our integration activities prepared greeting cards and original flowers made from sweets for the guests.
The guests were welcomed by the President of the Management Board of the Integration Europe – East Association, Krzysztof Kalita, who conveyed warm wishes on behalf of the entire team and invited participants to take part in a new project implemented with the support of the European Funds for Migration, Borders and Security.
The meeting also became an important step and a starting point for creating a Senior Club at our INTEURO Center. We are pleased to build together a space open to the needs of seniors, supporting integration, activity and mutual support.
The celebration ended with a warm and friendly meeting over tea. It was a time for conversations, sharing life stories and plans for the future. We thank all participants for their presence, kindness and the wonderful atmosphere.
