Herbs, wildflowers and feminine energy during integration workshops in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski

On 29 July 2026, integration workshops devoted to herbs, nature and creative activities were held at the INTEURO InfoPoint in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. The participants learned about the health-promoting properties of plants and then created unique wreaths from tansy, wild grasses and flowers.

Another integration meeting was held at the INTEURO InfoPoint in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, combining knowledge about nature with creative and relaxing activities. This time, the participants learned about the properties of herbs and used wild plants to make unique wreaths.

The workshops took place on 29 July 2026 at the INTEURO InfoPoint, which operates within the Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski branch of the Polish Red Cross. The meeting created a welcoming space for shared activities, conversations, exchanging experiences and building relationships.

The programme combined educational elements with practical activities. The participants could not only learn more about the plants found in their everyday surroundings, but also use them independently in their creative work.

Herbs and their impact on health

The first part of the meeting focused on herbs and their health-promoting effects on the body. The participants learned about selected plants, their traditional uses and their role in supporting everyday well-being.

The discussion about nature also provided an opportunity to exchange personal experiences and family traditions related to the use of herbs. Many plants are known in both Polish and Ukrainian traditions, which made the subject particularly conducive to integration and discovering shared elements of culture.

Unique wreaths made from wild plants

After the educational part, it was time for creative practice. The participants made wreaths from tansy, wild grasses and flowers, creating unique compositions inspired by nature.

Each wreath had its own character and reflected the ideas and individual sensitivity of its creator. Working with natural materials encouraged relaxation, concentration and informal conversation.

The workshops showed that simple plants found in meadows and along country paths can become materials for beautiful decorations and a source of inspiration for further creative activities.

A time of connection, inspiration and feminine energy

The meeting was not only an opportunity to gain knowledge and develop practical skills. Above all, it became a time of togetherness, mindfulness and relationship-building among women.

Being close to nature, surrounded by the fragrance of herbs and flowers, together with the peaceful atmosphere, helped the participants take a break from their everyday responsibilities. They could share their experiences, inspire one another and enjoy the time spent together.
