Crafts that bring people together – integration workshops at the INTEURO InfoPoint in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski

This time, ordinary bottles became the starting point for something creative. During September’s craft sessions at the INTEURO InfoPoint in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, participants transformed them into decorative pieces using decoupage. The sessions took place at the InfoPoint, which operates at the District Branch of the Polish Red Cross (PCK).

Each woman decided how her piece would look. Patterns, colour combinations and decorative details gave the bottles their individual character. Simple objects became small works of art – each with its own story and a personal touch from its maker.

Time for yourself, time with others

Conversation and laughter accompanied the creative work. There was time to choose another pattern, share an idea or chat with the other women. Everyday responsibilities could take a back seat for a while, leaving space for an activity done simply for enjoyment.

These gatherings allow room for individual creativity as well as getting to know one another. A shared activity makes it easier to start a conversation, while exchanging ideas can offer a fresh perspective on your own work. It is through small moments like these that the connections encouraged by the InfoPoint’s integration activities begin to grow.

Thank you to the participants for their company and creative ideas, and to the Polish Red Cross in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski for helping provide a space for these gatherings.
