6 May 2026 – INTEURO Senior Club: digital safety and the basics of media literacy

Participants will learn practical rules for using the internet, mobile phones, email and messaging apps safely. The meeting will focus on everyday situations in which caution, personal data protection and the ability to recognise reliable information are especially important.

During the session, participants will talk about how to recognise suspicious messages, fake links, online fraud attempts and disinformation appearing on social media. Basic rules for protecting passwords, online accounts and mobile phones will also be discussed.

An important part of the meeting will be devoted to checking the reliability of information. Seniors will learn what to pay attention to when reading news online, how to distinguish trustworthy sources from manipulative content, and why it is important not to share unverified information.

The meeting will have a practical character. Participants will be able to ask questions, share their own experiences and discuss situations they encounter in everyday life while using phones, messaging apps, email or social media.

The INTEURO Senior Club is a space for regular meetings, conversations, integration and education. The activities help participants better navigate everyday life in Poland, develop new skills and strengthen their sense of security.
