INTEURO Network Programme
INTEURO Network is a programme supporting the development of a friendly and competent environment for foreigners living in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
The programme focuses on training employees of public institutions and organisations operating in the region so that contact between foreigners and institutions is easier, clearer and more welcoming.
The support is addressed to third-country nationals (from outside the European Union) who legally reside in Poland, as well as institutions that work with foreigners.
All activities within the programme are free of charge for project participants.
Training for public institutions
One of the most important elements of the programme is training for employees of public institutions and organisations operating in the region.
The training helps institutions better prepare for working with foreigners and improves staff competences in intercultural communication.
The training may be attended, among others, by employees of:
- public administration offices
- schools and educational institutions
- social assistance institutions
- non-governmental organisations.
Intercultural competences
The programme supports the development of intercultural competences in institutions that work with foreigners on a daily basis.
Thanks to the training, staff members can better understand the needs of foreigners and provide more effective assistance in administrative, educational and social matters.
The training covers topics such as:
- intercultural communication
- specific aspects of working with foreigners
- the most common problems faced by migrants
- good practices of integration.
Friendly institutions in the region
The aim of the programme is to create a network of institutions across the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship that are well prepared to work with foreigners.
Thanks to this, people arriving in the region can expect professional and friendly service in offices, schools and other public institutions.
The programme helps build an environment in which foreigners feel safe and can more easily adapt to their new surroundings.
