Information meeting for seniors – pensions and social insurance for foreigners after changes in regulations

During the meeting, participants could learn about the recent changes in the regulations concerning the social insurance system and the rules that apply to foreigners when acquiring the right to a pension in Poland. The discussion also covered issues related to employment periods in Poland, the possibility of combining insurance periods from different countries, and the procedure for applying for social benefits.

The meeting was led by consultant Valentyna Liva, who supports foreigners on a daily basis in matters related to the social insurance system, employment and administrative procedures. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual explanations regarding their personal situations.

The strong interest in the meeting showed that topics related to pensions, insurance and social security are particularly important for people who have worked for many years in different countries and want to properly plan their future.

In the near future we plan to organize further cyclical information meetings for seniors. They will focus, among others, on healthcare in Poland, the rules for accessing the public healthcare system, and issues related to pensions and social benefits. The meetings will take place not only in Kielce but also in other towns across the Świętokrzyskie region.
