INTEURO Integration Programme
INTEURO Integration is a programme supporting foreigners living in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in building relationships with the local community and learning more about the region.
Integration is not only about administrative matters or learning the language. Above all, it is about human relationships, spending time together and having the opportunity to meet new people.
The support is addressed to third-country nationals (from outside the European Union) who legally reside in Poland.
All activities within the programme are free of charge for project participants.
Individual Integration Plans (IIP)
One of the key elements of the programme are Individual Integration Plans (IIP).
During meetings with an advisor, participants can jointly create a personal adaptation path in Poland tailored to their needs and life situation.
The integration plan may include, among others:
- support in adapting to life in Poland
- participation in integration events
- development of social and language competences
- getting to know local institutions and organisations.
Integration events and workshops
The INTEURO Integration programme also includes various events and workshops that encourage interaction between local residents and foreigners.
The activities include, among others:
- intercultural workshops
- integration meetings
- sports and recreational events
- celebrations of holidays and cultural events.
These meetings help build relationships between people from different cultures and better understand customs and traditions in Poland.
As part of community activities, meetings of the Women’s Club and the Seniors’ Club are also organised.
Discover the Świętokrzyskie region
The programme also includes activities promoting the history, culture and attractions of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.
Participants can take part in integration trips during which they get to know the most interesting places in the region.
Thanks to this, foreigners have the opportunity to:
- learn about the history of the region
- discover local traditions and culture
- better understand the place where they live.
Integration as an important part of life in Poland
Building relationships with the local community helps foreigners adapt more easily to life in a new country.
Thanks to the INTEURO Integration programme, participants can:
- meet new people
- develop social relationships
- actively participate in the life of the local community
- get to know the Świętokrzyskie region better.
